Parliament of Ghana on Wednesday held its first-ever Information Sharing Session with academia and civil society, focused on Economic Governance and Public Financial Management. The Clerk to Parliament Mr. Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror welcomed the initiative organized by the Citizens' Bureau in partnership with ISSER as a major step in deepening citizen engagement and evidence-based lawmaking. The Clerk noted the session's timing, coming as Parliament reviews the 2026 Mid-Year Fiscal Policy Review, and expressed hope it marks the start of regular engagements between Parliament, academia and civil society going forward.
