The Majority Leader and Chairman of the Business Committee, Hon. Mahama Ayariga has disclosed that Members of Parliament will start commentary on the Mid-Year Review of the Budget Statement and Economic Policy of Government of Ghana for the 2026 Financial Year on Tuesday 28th July 2026. The Mid-Year Budget Review was presented by the Minister for Finance, Hon. Cassiel Ato Forson on Thursday 23rd July 2026. According to Hon. Ayariga, the Minority and Majority Leaders will conclude the commentary on the Mid-Year Budget Review on Thursday 30th July, 2026. Hon. Ayariga made this this known when he presented the explanatory memorandum on the Business Statement for the eleventh week ending Friday 31st July, 2026. He also informed the House that three (3) Ministers are expected to attend upon the House to respond to Thirty-One (31) Questions during the Week. The House is expected to adjourn Sine Die on 31st July 2026.
