The Secretary-General of the African Parliamentary Union (APU) IDI GADO Boubacar, has paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Discussions focused on enhancing the visibility and impact of the APU, promoting democratic governance, and building synergies between African legislatures to address shared challenges. The Speaker reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to the ideals of the APU and expressed readiness to support efforts aimed at advancing parliamentary diplomacy and regional integration.
