PARLIAMENTARIANS CONGRATULATE THE BLACK STARS
Member for Suaman and Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture, Hon. Stephen M.E.K. Ackah, in a statement issued in Parliament commended the Black Stars for their sterling performance in the ongoing Orange African Cup of Nations in Angola.
He described the young players as talented, committed, focused, determined and patriotic people who have proven their capability at a time when most of their senior teammates were injured and could not play.
He said the players have excelled beyond the imagination of critics who felt they lack the capacity and experience needed for a competitive urge over FIFA high ranked teams.
He therefore entreated the whole House to encourage and support the team to enable them lifts the cup for Ghana.
The Hon. Member for Atwima-Mponua, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah who contributed to the statement also commended the Black Stars on their splendid performance in the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
He however regretted the current reshuffle of the Acting Sports Minister; Hon. Rashid Pelpuo could affect negatively, the morale and performance of the Black Stars.
